We are continually evaluating and striving to improve our processes to reduce pollution and waste, conserve natural resources, and minimize potential negative environmental impacts of our activities and operations.At BMIC, It is our obligation to undertake measures to prevent accidental emissions, in addition to always having emergency programs ready. In order to achieve this, we’ve implemented the latest technology of fabric filtration system, designed and supplied by FLS-AirTech – one of the world’s leaders in cement process technology designers and manufacturers. This technology helps significantly elongate bag life, minimize maintenance and provide reliable, cost-effective operation that can deliver emissions below 7 mg/Nm³. Community | Proactive Contributions On the community level, we work with partners who help us understand the communities' needs and develop lasting solutions. We have annual action plans and contributions that will help improve health, support education and grow local economies. On signing an agreement with Masr El Kheir, BMIC guarantees its contribution in the development of the personal and professional skills of fresh graduates, specifically those residing in Assiut Governorate. Masr el Kheir will go through the process of nominating the eligible candidates, to which BMIC will provide them with the necessary trainings and workshops that will prepare them for a reputable career in the marketplace. On the educational level, BMIC has signed an internship agreement with the British University in Egypt (BUE). In its efforts to play an effective, proactive role in bringing up inspiring business leaders to the future market, BMIC offers on an annual basis, summer internships to BUE Business Administration students, whereby they receive an intensive program, helping them get hands-on management experience
